To begin your journey with Beyond Bloems, please submit this online inquiry below.

Our Inquiry Process

Step 1: Inquiry & Availability

Once your inquiry is submitted, we review the details and confirm date availability. Dates are secured on a first-come, first-served basis.

Step 2: Design Commitment

If aligned, a $250 design deposit is required to secure your date and begin creative development. This deposit is applied toward your final balance if you move forward.

Step 3: Design Proposal & Consultation

Within 7–10 business days / two weeks, you’ll receive a custom design proposal. A design consultation follows to refine vision, review layouts, and align on overall aesthetic.

Step 4: Booking & Production

A signed contract and 25% retainer officially book your event. From there, our team handles sourcing, design development, and production through event execution.

FAQ

What to Expect When Working With Us

If I only need florals or a floral installation, can you still help?

Yes. You can absolutely hire Beyond Bloems for a specific floral scope.

Some events only require centerpieces, while others focus on statement installations such as backdrops, ceiling suspensions, or sculptural floral moments without traditional table florals. You are not required to include every floral element in order to work with us.

As long as the scope of work meets our minimum investment, we are happy to design only what your event truly needs.

What if I already have some florals and only need help with certain areas?

This depends on how the florals are being sourced and whether the event is intended for publication.

For private events, we may be able to step in for specific floral moments if the overall design remains cohesive and aligns with our aesthetic. However, for weddings or events where our work will be publicly represented or submitted for publication, Beyond Bloems operates as a non-compete florist.

This means all florals for the event must fall under our creative direction. We do not split floral responsibility with outside designers, family members, or third-party florists that we have never worked with, as this compromises cohesion and the integrity of the final design. Freelance designers may be brought in under the Beyond Bloems team, but all floral work is executed and represented as part of our studio.

We are always transparent about this during the inquiry stage so expectations are clear from the beginning.

Can you help get my event published?

We have relationships with photographers, publications, and editorial platforms, and we understand what different publications look for. However, publication is never guaranteed.

Editorial features depend on a combination of factors including overall aesthetic, storytelling, venue, photography, styling, and alignment with the publication’s vision. We are able to advise early in the process if an event has strong editorial potential and, when appropriate, will submit the event through our network after completion.

How far in advance should I book Beyond Bloems?

For larger-scale events such as weddings and highly curated celebrations, clients typically book us 6 to 12 months in advance. For smaller or more intimate events, bookings often happen 1 to 3 months out.

We do accept last-minute events based on availability. However, rush fees may apply for short timelines, as accommodating last-minute projects often requires overtime and schedule adjustments for our team. Any rush fees are always discussed upfront before moving forward.

Can changes be made after booking?

Yes. Design direction, color palette, and overall aesthetic can be adjusted up to 90 days prior to the event.

Final quantities are confirmed 30 days before the event, as florals and materials are sourced specifically for each project. If guest counts or table numbers change after that point, we do not simply remove florals. Instead, we thoughtfully repurpose those elements into additional installation moments so your investment is still fully utilized and impactful.

What size events do you typically work on?

Event size is less important to us than vision and alignment.

We design events ranging from intimate dinner parties to large-scale weddings and corporate events with several hundred guests. Whether you’re hosting a gathering for 10 guests or a celebration for 450, what matters most is that the event aligns with our aesthetic and meets our minimum investment. Our team is fully equipped to handle events of all sizes.

What is event design and how does it differ from event planning?

Event design focuses on the visual and experiential elements of an event, including florals, decor, layout, color palette, and overall ambiance. Event planning focuses on logistics, timelines, vendor coordination, and execution.

At Beyond Bloems, we offer both services, which allows design and planning to work together seamlessly. This integrated approach ensures that creative decisions are grounded in logistics, and that the event flows beautifully from start to finish.

Rooted in beauty.
Guided by intention.
