Arshia and Arash’s wedding at The Peach Orchard was a refined celebration of love, heritage, and timeless elegance. Designed and produced in The Woodlands, just outside of Houston, this wedding blended traditional Persian ceremony elements with modern floral design, creating an experience that felt both meaningful and visually elevated.
Beyond Bloems provided full-service floral design and event styling, transforming both the chapel ceremony and ballroom reception into a cohesive, immersive celebration rooted in cultural storytelling.
Persian Ceremony Design | Sofreh Aghd in the Chapel
The ceremony took place inside the chapel, where a traditional sofreh aghd served as the heart of the design. This sacred Persian wedding element honored the couple’s cultural roots while creating a serene and symbolic focal point within the space.
The sofreh was thoughtfully styled to balance tradition with refinement, allowing each element to feel intentional, elevated, and visually harmonious within the chapel setting. Soft floral accents complemented the design without overwhelming it, ensuring the ceremony remained grounded in meaning while still reflecting a luxury wedding aesthetic.
Ballroom Reception Floral Design and Styling
The reception unfolded in the ballroom, where a soft white palette created an atmosphere of understated elegance. The floral design featured a mix of baby’s breath and Playa Blanca roses, offering texture, softness, and depth while maintaining a clean and timeless look.
Centerpieces were intentionally varied to create visual rhythm throughout the space. Low arrangements provided intimacy at the table level, while tall spiral centerpieces introduced height and movement, drawing the eye upward and adding dimension across the room.
At the center of the reception, a suspended floral installation above the sweetheart table became the defining design moment. Floating overhead, this installation added a sense of lightness and romance, anchoring the room while creating a focal point that felt both dramatic and ethereal.
Design Approach and Guest Experience
This Houston-area wedding embraced a balance between cultural tradition and modern design, allowing each element to feel both personal and elevated. The all-white palette created a calming and cohesive environment, while layered candlelight added warmth and intimacy throughout the evening.
The result was a reception that felt refined, romantic, and deeply intentional, offering guests an experience that was both visually captivating and emotionally meaningful.
