Set against the natural beauty of High Point State, Maria and Ronaldo’s wedding embraced a romantic garden aesthetic elevated through refined details and intentional contrast. Designed to feel elegant yet organic, the celebration balanced natural textures with polished finishes, creating an atmosphere that felt warm, timeless, and deeply personal.
The venue’s architecture played a key role in shaping the design. Wooden panels, farm style banquet tables, and wooden chairs established a grounded, rustic foundation. Rather than masking these elements, the design leaned into them, elevating the look through layered refinement. Gold charger plates and gold flatware were introduced across the tablescape, creating a subtle contrast that brought softness and sophistication to the natural materials without overpowering the space.
Floral design added dimension and movement throughout the reception. Some tables featured low, lush garden style centerpieces designed to encourage conversation and intimacy. Others were transformed with dramatic suspended floral installations, cascading above eight foot tables to create height and visual impact. This intentional variation allowed the room to feel dynamic and immersive while maintaining cohesion across the design.
The cake served as a sculptural focal point within the reception. A six tier white cake featured florals nestled between each layer, echoing the garden inspired aesthetic and reinforcing the sense of abundance seen throughout the event. The bride’s bouquet followed the same philosophy. Designed as a large, organic arrangement, it featured roses, anemones, and layers of textural greenery, offering a lush, romantic expression of the overall vision.
The ceremony took place at St. John Newman Church, providing a timeless and meaningful setting before guests transitioned to the reception. Live music carried the celebration into the evening, adding energy and emotion to the experience, while catering by 512 Boutique Events complemented the refined yet welcoming atmosphere.
This wedding was a thoughtful study in balance. Romantic yet structured. Garden inspired yet elevated. By honoring natural materials while layering in refined details, Maria and Ronaldo’s celebration offered inspiration for couples seeking an elegant garden wedding that feels both organic and polished, timeless and expressive.
