Demi & Michael | A Modern Wedding at Marché New Orleans

Demi and Michael envisioned a wedding that felt less like a traditional reception and more like a curated experience. Hosted at Marché in New Orleans, the celebration was intentionally divided into two distinct spaces, allowing the evening to unfold naturally between an elegant dinner and a high energy lounge inspired reception.

Guests began the evening in a dining room layered with refined white florals, candlelight, and thoughtfully designed tablescapes that encouraged conversation and connection. Across the venue, an entirely different atmosphere awaited. A custom black and white checkered dance floor, sculptural eighteen foot trees, a bespoke DJ booth, and a champagne tower transformed the second room into an immersive celebration designed for movement and energy.

The monochromatic floral palette carried throughout both spaces, creating continuity while allowing the architecture and dramatic installations to take center stage. As the evening continued into a traditional New Orleans second line, the celebration expanded beyond the venue, embracing one of the city's most iconic traditions before guests returned to dance late into the night.

The result was a wedding that balanced timeless elegance with modern hospitality, proving that thoughtful spatial design can shape not only how a celebration looks, but how guests experience every moment of it.
