Zainab's Mayun at The St. Regis Houston reimagined a beloved South Asian tradition through a fresh, editorial lens. Inspired by the playful theme "Main Squeeze," the celebration embraced the joy of the occasion while elevating every detail with modern floral design, vibrant color, and immersive styling.

A bold yellow palette set the tone throughout the ballroom, celebrating the symbolism of happiness and new beginnings. More than 800 fresh lemons were suspended above the stage, creating a dramatic installation that framed the custom swing and became the defining visual moment of the evening. The citrus motif continued through lush floral arrangements, sculptural centerpieces, and thoughtfully layered décor, creating a cohesive experience that felt both whimsical and refined.

Rather than reimagining tradition for the sake of being different, the design celebrated it through a contemporary perspective. Every detail balanced cultural significance with creative expression, resulting in a celebration that felt joyful, immersive, and unmistakably personal.
