Zainab & Saad | A Private Residence Wedding in Sugar Land

Some places already feel like home. For Zainab and Saad, there was no better place to begin their next chapter than the backyard where so many family memories had already been made.

Together, we transformed the space into an intimate wedding setting that honored the warmth of a private residence while introducing the scale and refinement of a luxury celebration. Just days before the wedding, a clear tent was added as the forecast shifted. Rather than changing the vision, it became part of it, filling the reception with natural light during the day and reflecting the glow of hundreds of candles as evening settled in.

The Nikkah ceremony unfolded beneath a custom double sided floral arch framed with soft green seating, creating a setting that felt both welcoming and deeply meaningful. Designed to remain part of the celebration long after the ceremony, the installation naturally became a gathering place for family photographs and quiet conversations throughout the evening.

Inside the tent, a sweeping serpentine table anchored the reception, inviting forty of the couple's closest family and friends to dine together. Elevated floral arrangements, candlelit tables, and lush floral runners created movement throughout the space, while a timeless palette of layered whites and greens allowed the beauty of the setting to shine. Zainab's Sabyasachi gown completed the atmosphere with an effortless sense of tradition and modern refinement.

As guests moved through the evening, the backyard never lost its sense of home. It simply became the backdrop for a celebration that felt personal, welcoming, and beautifully transformed.
